When I think of a day spent in Wynwood, I think of a day wandering the streets of New York. There's always something new to try and see. With Basel, you see new art appearing right before your eyes. There were artist everywhere creating art on any canvas they can find. With the last photo, I can't wait to go back and see the end result.

Flashback Friday
It's always appropriate to post a flashback Friday when you have no new photos to post. I've been sitting on these photos for a while now and I always loved the shots of me in my favorite jeans and perfect striped shirt, which is my all time favorite thrifted find. It's outfits like this that remind me its all about good basics.
It's also appropriate when I want to talk about how much I miss my long hair. It's when you go through past photos that makes you miss the things you once had. Even though I don't have any regrets on cutting it, I just miss having the ability to do pretty braids and perfect buns.
Happy Friday!

Bar Cart Essentials
When I think of decorating for the holidays or for my apartment in general, my go to places are Target, West Elm, Etsy and Hobby Lobby. Each of these places has affordable and just what you're looking for pieces. For the holiday's I focus on buying anything that sparkles, has cute sayings or is GOLD! Gold is a color that can transition into many Holiday seasons seamlessly or in my case it's a color I leave up all year. Just like the color gold, a bar cart is a piece of furniture that is timeless and something you need all year. This one from target is the most affordable I have seen and is the classic style that works with a lot of designs. In keeping with the theme of gold these are my bar cart essentials.
1. Bar Cart from Target
2. Cheers Banner from Etsy
3. Cute Saying Dessert Plates from Nordstrom (I just bought these & can't wait to use them)
4. Drinking inspired Print from Etsy
5. Drink Stirrers from Etsy
6. Gold Sea Urchins from Target (Put on the car and add the rest to a gallery wall like here)
7. Gold Rimmed Glassware from West Elm
8. Gold Printed Glassware from West Elm

Oh do I love cold weather in Florida. Even this get up did not keep me warm. After I took these photos I threw on a big shaggy cardigan. I look forward to the days of layering and wearing fall colors. It makes you feel like the holiday's are coming.

Wedding in October
It was my cousin Taylor's wedding that brought the Traxler's and my boyfriend Alex, for a 13 hour drive to her beautiful wedding in Columbia, South Carolina. This quaint style home wedding was so darling and so personal, it put all glam weddings to shame. This wedding embodied my cousins shy demeanor and simple lifestyle; it was perfect for her.
Taylor, I wish you and Wesley a very happy life together! Hope you 2 are enjoying your honeymoon!

Clean Design
Follow me on Pinterest!
I think it's normal for all girls who go on Pinterest, to have an urge to redecorate. Once you're immersed with amazing inspiration it's hard not to. I wish Alex and I had a home already, but since we plan to move to New York, I must settle on apartment living. Moving into another apartment is an option, but the hassle of moving is just not worth it. Plus, the fact that once you paint a wall a color, you need to change it back once the lease is over. We already painted one wall and, quite honestly, it was a rushed color choice. BECAUSE....on our first week of moving, red wine splattered and stained the wall. Don't ask, I just have that luck. I guess dreaming and pinning on Pinterest will have to do until we get a house of our own.

For the love of bomber jackets
Jacket: Equipment On Sale Here Top: Nordstrom Skirt: Dolce Vita Purse: Clare Vivier Sneakers: Perforated Leather Vans
This equipment bomber is quickly becoming my favorite outerwear piece in my closet. I always love one stand out piece in my look and this for sure fits the bill. It's a luxe feeling fabric and the varsity style look is perfect for sprucing up a casual look. When looking for a perfect Miami appropriate jacket I think light, versatile and a fun style. I love that this also looks cute wrapped around my waist.
And yes, I got my purse for my birthday!!

With
a new haircut comes a feeling of new everything, or maybe thats just me. I have this urge to go through my closet and re-access what I should keep and what should go. With that, I'm thinking of having a clothes swap party with a couple friends. I'm sure they have a pile of clothes they don't want; I sure do.
What kind of feeling do you get when you get a new haircut?

Wishful Wednesday
It's no coincidence I'm posting this just days before my birthday. And funny enough all the pieces creates a look I would gladly wear to celebrate my 24th birthday. Per usual any gift list I create, always consist of something from Madewell, something animal print, a new purse and any new obsessions I might have, which today are hats and mens inspired pieces.
So let it be, Wishful Wednesday!

When In Fall
Top: J.Crew
Jeans: J.brand
Shoes: J.Crew
Necklace: J.Crew
There's just something about fall colors that makes me love to wear them all year long. It could be that they are rich in color and have a feeling of warmth, or just are appealing to the eye. All I know is when it's fall, I wear this shade of red a lot.

Easy Breezy
Top: Nordstrom, Pants: J.crew, Bracelet & Necklace: J.crew, Sandals: J.crew
So, they look pajamas, but they are not, it's an illusion. These are my 4th pair of
pajama like pants and I just can't get enough of them. They are comfy and
usually come in fun prints, that you can really dress up. Mine are from J.
crew where most of mine are from, but I have a pair of silk ones from Zara that
a lot of people seem to own as well. They are my go to bottoms when it's blazing hot and don't want to wear shorts.
Are you in love with pajama like pants as much as me?

Flecks of Neon
Shirt: Madewell
Tank: Free People
Shorts: Rag & Bone
Purse: Kate Spade
Necklace: J. Crew
Sneakers: Nike
Finally! I have my dream sneakers! I've been on the hunt for a pair of fun Nikes since I've been seeing the internationalist collection pop up everywhere and sell out before I can pick a pair. The last time I tried to get them, Nordstrom sent me the complete wrong color. I received an alert saying the sold out color Glacier Blue was available, so I ordered them as soon as I saw the e-mail, and instead they sent me a pink and yellow pair that were so not me. So, when I found these and actually received the right ones from Sneakerhead I had to create a outfit the day I got them. I really can't get enough of them! If only I could wear them to work.

Summer Essentials
I live for great basics and these are mine for the summer summer time. I'm sure it's not news for any one, but Free people makes the most affordable and flattering tank called the LA Nite Tank. It's my go-to sexy tank. My goal is to own them in all colors. When it comes to shorts I like a pair that is not too short and with a nice wash, and these rag & bone pair encompass both. They are longer from the back and they are a high-waist cut that really look amazing! I'm so happy I found my perfect denim short. The rest of my essentials are things I need/want at the moment. They are such versatile pieces that I could gain a lot of wear out of them. Those sandals are a killer, I've seen them on someone and I swooned over the fact they were indeed this pair. The Transport Tote from Madewell is a must have for anyone who carries a lot of things, which would be me. Lastly, for a person who lives in Ray-bans I would love to try a new style and these tortoise pair scream cool.
