So, they look pajamas, but they are not, it's an illusion. These are my 4th pair of pajama like pants and I just can't get enough of them. They are comfy and usually come in fun prints, that you can really dress up. Mine are from J. crew where most of mine are from, but I have a pair of silk ones from Zara that a lot of people seem to own as well. They are my go to bottoms when it's blazing hot and don't want to wear shorts.

Finally! I have my dream sneakers! I've been on the hunt for a pair of fun Nikes since I've been seeing the internationalist collection pop up everywhere and sell out before I can pick a pair. The last time I tried to get them, Nordstrom sent me the complete wrong color. I received an alert saying the sold out color Glacier Blue was available, so I ordered them as soon as I saw the e-mail, and instead they sent me a pink and yellow pair that were so not me. So, when I found these and actually received the right ones from Sneakerhead I had to create a outfit the day I got them. I really can't get enough of them! If only I could wear them to work.

This is what I call my elevated take on jeans and a tee. Most of my day off attire usually looks like this, but i bumped it up a notch with some fancy brands. I like basic knits with cool cuts and super soft materials, and theory and rag & bone are right on the money with that. My Goldsign jeans are my new affair. Each pair looks so special and unique, and for real denim lovers you would totally get what I'm saying. They are the softest and most comfortable denim even though they are distressed. They are just perfectly worn.

The vacation vibes are flowing. Alex (my boyfriend) and I are in serious need of a vacation, but where to go is the issue. It's been between Cali, Chicago, D.C or back to New York. For me it's CALIFORNIA all the way. I've never been and that perfect weather charm is calling my name.  Where do you think we should visit? 

Lastly, did you watch the Miami Heat game last night?! That was an unbelievable game and "that guy" is one dirty player who does not deserve to play for the NBA! The Miami Heat has an amazing team flow and nobody could ever compare. They don't need dirty antics to win. Cannot wait to go watch them win the finals!!

It's been a long time since I've written on this blog let alone go on it. I know, because as I was typing up my blog name in the search tab, it didn't complete the link. My only excuse is that school, work and life played such a huge role in my absence. But now I'm a college graduate circa 3 weeks ago and I now live on my own. I  can officially say that I now know the meaning of living the adult life; I think ; )

As I wear my Stella McCartney esque top, I give you a peek of the view from my balcony, my new love of desert plants and the sunset I get to see up close just from my living room.

The sights of summer are nowhere to be seen.

 But since it's summer, I'm ready to show it.

Your investment pieces will be your bathing suit and sunglasses, for without them there is no summer. Your essential piece will be your Chambray Shirt, which you can wear with practically anything. If you never know how to pair prints, wear chambray; it's a no brainer. Your on trend piece would be, printed shorts. Which are one of my favorite summer pieces at the moment. I'm especially loving the hawaiian print I'm seeing everywhere. A little tourist chic, you can call it. A cute tote is a must since where are you going to put your tanning oil? While I bring my spf 100! And Lastly, shoes are a given. You can never have to many shoes.

Finally a Denim Vest! I went to the J. Crew in New York which btw was gorgeous and amazing and found this vest right as I was leaving. I've been looking for one that was the perfect wash and of course J. Crew supplied it. I wore this look out to the Joan Jett concert. I must say she is an amazing performer and her voice was just how I imagined it would be live. She was doing all these crazy moves- which would disturb me for a person her age but it just looked right. She totally still got it.

The movie was amazing and to see the cast speak on behalf of the film was an amazing thing to hear and see. The last installment of the film was for sure its best and I'm truly sad to see the series end. For all you Harry Potter fans you will not be disappointed.

So I wore this 4th o f July!! I was sort of festive with my red blouse. So I have like really big news that I can't share just yet, but it's very exciting. I've never won something so big and grand but I can't wait to let you all know soon.

Its been beyond HOT here in Florida- I've been dying!!!. Even with this outfit and a ponytail(which I honestly try to avoid) didn't help at all. So my attempt to look festive for summer and stay cool enough..i went with brights-not that it helped reflect the sun or anything. But other then that do you see my Kate Spade Scout purse?(well DUH). I've been obsessing over it and really squealed with excitement when I was able to order it at Bloomingdale's. I originally wanted the pink one, but there wasn't not one anywhere!! But overall the color of this orange is really just a stunner!!

Finally an Outfit Post! Since this is my favorite denim shirt, i needed to buy a pin to hide the hollister logo so I could wear it to work..quite ingenious right?

I think this is the longest I've ever not blog. School was kicking my butt last semester. I passed by some miracle. I now work at J. Crew, which is seriously killing my wallet. Every week I buy something but it's hard not to when the discounts are ridiculously amazing and the pieces are to die for.
