Summer Essentials

I live for great basics and these are mine for the summer summer time. I'm sure it's not news for any one, but Free people makes the most affordable and flattering tank called the LA Nite Tank. It's my go-to sexy tank. My goal is to own them in all colors. When it comes to shorts I like a pair that is not too short and with a nice wash, and these rag & bone pair encompass both. They are longer from the back and they are a high-waist cut that really look amazing! I'm so happy I found my perfect denim short. The rest of my essentials are things I need/want at the moment. They are such versatile pieces that I could gain a lot of wear out of them. Those sandals are a killer, I've seen them on someone and I swooned over the fact they were indeed this pair. The Transport Tote from Madewell is a must have for anyone who carries a lot of things, which would be me. Lastly, for a person who lives in Ray-bans I would love to try a new style and these tortoise pair scream cool.

This is what I call my elevated take on jeans and a tee. Most of my day off attire usually looks like this, but i bumped it up a notch with some fancy brands. I like basic knits with cool cuts and super soft materials, and theory and rag & bone are right on the money with that. My Goldsign jeans are my new affair. Each pair looks so special and unique, and for real denim lovers you would totally get what I'm saying. They are the softest and most comfortable denim even though they are distressed. They are just perfectly worn.

The vacation vibes are flowing. Alex (my boyfriend) and I are in serious need of a vacation, but where to go is the issue. It's been between Cali, Chicago, D.C or back to New York. For me it's CALIFORNIA all the way. I've never been and that perfect weather charm is calling my name.  Where do you think we should visit? 

Lastly, did you watch the Miami Heat game last night?! That was an unbelievable game and "that guy" is one dirty player who does not deserve to play for the NBA! The Miami Heat has an amazing team flow and nobody could ever compare. They don't need dirty antics to win. Cannot wait to go watch them win the finals!!

It's been a long time since I've written on this blog let alone go on it. I know, because as I was typing up my blog name in the search tab, it didn't complete the link. My only excuse is that school, work and life played such a huge role in my absence. But now I'm a college graduate circa 3 weeks ago and I now live on my own. I  can officially say that I now know the meaning of living the adult life; I think ; )

As I wear my Stella McCartney esque top, I give you a peek of the view from my balcony, my new love of desert plants and the sunset I get to see up close just from my living room.
