Yeah, I meant it to be a pretty bright post. Even from the overly crazy flare app i used to make the photos pop! So, the winter season is coming to Florida and it's time to bear the cold, and not with ugly hoodies and sweats. Wear your scarves, layer with sweaters and cute collared tops, and wear cords for a different texture than jeans.

BOYISHAPPEAL

I love masculine pieces mixed with girly pieces; it gives a look an unexpected edge. Just by pairing a utility jacket with a feminine dress, blouse or skirt you add a little boyish appeal. You can find a utility jacket just about any where. Mine in particular is from J. Crew and it's my go to piece.  I'm surprised I don't have a picture of my favorite Van Halen T-shirt with my blingy necklace. I have worn the combo with leather shorts, pleated skirts, boyfriend jeans and a floral skirt (favorite contrast). Another way to incorporate the boyish/girly trend is by pairing your boyfriend jeans with a girly blouse and pumps. There are endless ways and I just can't get enough of it.

What's not to love about this collection? You have your sleek black looks to your ethereal lace pieces. I can see Taylor Tomasi wearing the printed ensembles, while Kate Lanphear sticks to the all black pieces. This spring collection had something for everybody. You could be edgy, trendy or natural, but still stand out. From a scale to 1-10 I give it a 10, it blew my mind!

A hint of leopard never hurt anyone; it only makes a person's outfit complete. Use it to mix prints, Add as a neutral and lastly to break up a monochromatic look. My take is down below
